Synopsis

Best friends, sixteen year old CJ Jansen and Skye Somers spend their vacations together fishing and boating in the Florida Keys, but this summer is different. A budding relationship slowly develops as fifteen year of Skye discovers that she can communicate with a pelican named Flapper and a dolphin named Squeaky, both who become great friends of the teens. An exploding boat, a murder conspiracy, a body found in a sunken hull, sharks and smugglers drive the two to discover the secrets around Islamorada. Finally, a swim across the channel to the tiny island of Indian Key could have cost the adventurous teenagers their lives, until they discovered that miracles do happen.

J. Thomas Stovall is the author of Miracle at Indian Key, a trilogy adventure story for teens and adults, which will be followed by Marquesas Gold. Mr. Stovall is also the author of The Cuban Sanction. Born in Mississippi, he resides in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
