FDRs New Deal put unemployed young men back to work in 1930s America. These Civilian Conservation Corps workers built Wyoming's, Guernsey State Park, leaving behind a lasting legacy of their hard work and building imagination. This book relates the building of the park along with describing typical days in the lives of CCC workers. This work also brings to life folktales long ago left behind in the park.
