Synopsis
David Brown, Jr. is awakening to a compassionate heart and purposeful living. This journey began with sadness and chaos and the parental abduction of, Lucia, his eleven-month old daughter. In the anxious days following the abduction, David began writing notes to Lucia although he had no physical way to deliver them. Just putting pen to paper increased his heart connection to her. Encouraged by family, friends, spiritual teachings and meditation experiences, David chose not to be governed by anger, and that choice initiated an overwhelming sense of compassion for his estranged wife, baby daughter and himself. With new clarity, David no longer saw himself as a victim, and realized that he was being inspired by certain principles. His handwritten notes became Letters for Lucia, and a vehicle for sharing the powerful principles that were redirecting his life: heart, awareness, intention, acceptance, compassion, forgiveness, loving unconditionally, and gratitude.

David Brown Jr. is a senior leader in financial services and aspiring author. He earned a degree in finance at University of Delaware and an Executive MBA at Villanova, as well as, studying organizational leadership, psychology of leadership and organizational dynamics. He has a high desire to encourage others to awaken to their passions and begin to lead more purposeful lives. Sharing his personal story of being separated from his daughter and how that trauma awakened his heart to loving kindness and compassion has further fueled his desire to help others. David is a certified Reiki Master practitioner and life transformation coach and currently lives in Delaware.
