Synopsis

Jason Smiley woke up next to a dead man on the day he was supposed to save the world. Life had been rough since the Army medically retired him and he'd gotten his PI license, but sleeping with naked dead men still wasn't his thing.
Jason has to find Jack, the battle buddy that wanted his help in world saving, but the Mob, the Chinese Tongs, a terrorist sleeper cell and the US government want to find Jack first. Smiley is in the way, but first he has to find his clothes.

D E Osborne has been a story teller and writer since childhood, but the story of life pushed the dreams of a writer’s life many years into the future. Some of his most memorable moments in writing, at least when he was starting out, included a personalized rejection letter from the New Yorker Magazine saying ‘write about what you know’ and an Official Marvel ‘No-Prize’ signed by Stan Lee for character suggestions. Rejections are always more instructive than praise, just not as enjoyable. D E lives in rural Northern New York where the winters last too long and are separated by single season ‘getting ready for Winter’. (Laugh loudly here….). D E’s other passions include reading, music and his family.
