JAKe Hatmacher has drawn upon his long experience as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist and his strong interest in education to prevent illness. He continues to see and treat patients but has now turned to writing fiction that explores the effects of women's choices in relation to their health. JAKe grew up in the Midwest, went to medical school in the Midwest and stayed in the Midwest to practice medicine after finishing his residency training. He harbored several ideas for books for years as they emerged from the experience of his medical practice. He recently has found enough time to develop these fledgling stories.
