Jon Daniel Bennett is a native of Baton Rouge, LA. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Naomi. God has blessed their union with three children: Cameron, Daniel, and Sarah. Jon's passion is studying and teaching the Bible with the goal of life change. His focus on expository preaching has helped to nurture a healthy congregation of believers growing collectively in spiritual maturity. In addition to faithful Bible teaching, Jon has a desire to make an impact in the community God has planted him in - leading the congregation to be actively involved in evangelism and outreach efforts. While Jon believes that charity starts at home, he has been blessed to spread the gospel beyond his community, throughout Louisiana and surrounding states. He has also been blessed with the opportunity to preach to congregations and teach leadership conferences in Haiti. Jon is the author of “The Nehemiah Blueprint”—a powerful book that views the rebuilding of urban communities from a Biblical perspective.; and "Victorious Secrets"—a compelling look at walking in victory based upon Paul's teachings in Ephesians 6. Jon also serves as the pastor of Belfair Church. His desire as a servant-leader is to equip families, empower the community, and expand the kingdom of God. Jon’s life verse is Galatians 2:20 which says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
