Synopsis
Dion Cargill is every woman’s dream: young, handsome, charismatic, gainfully employed while enrolled in school full-time...he appears to live a role-model life, but he has desires the likes of which leads him to take dangerous risks. Dion has a secret life. His womanizing ways isn't it. Dion risks life and freedom as he tempts fate to fulfill his financial and adventurous desires: he handles logistics and finances for a major drug smuggler. Are the Risks worth the Rewards? More importantly, will Dion survive the consequences? Risks, Rewards & Consequences is a fact-based work of fiction that covers federal crimes where race, sex and religion are of no significance. It covers more than drugs, sex, and violence. However, no book that realistically covers crimes can be without those. It is a fun, exciting, educational, page-turner with fascinating characters from all walks of life whose family, relationships, friendships, cultural and even religious issues come into play....but, my novel has a twist unlike any other ever written --Urban or Mainstream. As the story is being told and the criminal activities unfold (Risks), I use clever ways to point out to the reader the realistic amount of money (Rewards) that the character will make, the Federal Statutes being broken, the Sentencing Guidelines outlining the amount of time that the judge can assess to the crime, along with fines and forfeitures (Consequences).
