Dr. Anne Marie McDonnell Vale graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Bay View, an independent all-girls Catholic high school in East Providence, Rhode Island. After graduation, she received a special talent piano scholarship to study music at Rhode Island College, where she completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in music education. In 1999, Anne Marie attained her Ph. D. in organizational leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, and subsequently taught as an adjunct professor in Regent's graduate leadership studies program. Anne Marie was a public school elementary music specialist and classroom teacher for twenty-nine years in the North Providence School Department. In 2006, she received honorable recognition as the "North Providence Teacher of the Year." She also served as the music director at St. Casimir's Lithuanian Catholic Church in Providence for over thirty years. Anne Marie is retired and lives with her husband, Michael in Sarasota, Florida. She enjoys playing music at local nursing facilities and in the surrounding community. Anne Marie and Michael live in Village Walk and are parishioners of the Church of the Incarnation.
