Rachel Williams Cutrer is a 7th generation Texas cattle breeder, and based the character Sarah the Showman on her experiences showing Brahman and Shorthorn cattle with her family from 1987 to present. Rachel did, in fact, get 6th place at her first show and set Mary Poppins up backwards. She also won Grand Champion at the 1987 All American with Mary Poppins. She still loves showing even today, even though her husband Brandon now handles most of their family’s showing. She is the founder of Ranch House Designs, Inc.
