Rose Fayton–Robinson, affectionately called “Mother Fayton,” is founder and facilitator of the patient homecare facility ‘Ferndale House’ and the President and CEO of “The Mother Rose Fayton-Robinson Foundation.” Her efforts, concern and love for people have grown into three (3) facilities. These facilities house males and females of various ages and spectrums of life that include teenagers to the elderly, who are physically disabled, mentally ill, and battered. Mother Fayton started patient homecare almost 30 years ago at her home in Hollis, NY when she invited a displaced patient at the hospital where she worked to her house for the weekend. This incident paved the way for Ferndale House, which became the chief cornerstone for her foundation. Mother Fayton’s enlarged commitment is not only dedicated to the Ferndale Houses, but extends to her service as the head of the New Greater Bethel Ministries Pastoral Care Committee and overseer of Concerned Positive Women, which is a ministry designed to build and encourage women. Her life experiences, leadership abilities, and excellent organizational skills make her a pillar in her niche and a “go to” person for all who have made her acquaintance.
