Jennifer Mendiola is a graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy. Jennifer wrote this adorable story after introducing her daughter Izabella to their new kitten Pippa Vanderwoodsen. Jennifer lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her two daughters Izabella and Zoey Jane. Pippa Vanderwoodsen is still a big part of their family and continues to receive hugs on a daily basis.
