Jennifer Kau is a native of Boise, Idaho and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in art from The College of Idaho. She and her husband own and operate Aloha Tattoo and Arts in Boise. As a local artist, if she isn’t drawing in her studio, Jennifer takes her art on the road sketching anywhere from Downtown Boise’s thriving urban art scene to her favorite spot in the mountains overlooking scenic Garden Valley, Idaho. Jennifer has always been drawn to texture, pattern, hidden imagery, and organic flow and her artwork embodies all of these elements. Each piece of her art is freehand drawn depending on her mood and her inspirations - many of which emanate from Idaho’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. When she isn’t working as a tattoo artist or drawing, you can find Jennifer with her husband and daughter jeeping, hiking, or enjoying a campfire in the Idaho mountains.
