It is finally spring! Miles is walking in the cool morning breeze when he sees something in the wren house, and it isn’t a wren. It isn’t even a bird! It’s a toad!Miles learns that the toad's name is Jack and as they begin to talk, Chip the squirrel runs by and unknowingly hurts Jack’s feelings. Seeing that Jack is quite sad, Miles has an idea that will help Chip understand why his actions were hurtful. This is a tender story of empathy, thinking before acting, peaceful conflict resolution, and forgiveness, as Miles' thoughtful acts of kindness change a challenging circumstance into a heartwarming conclusion.
