Thomas Kirschner was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. He has been a Registered Professional Architect for 34 years, officially retiring at age seventy-four in 2015. He served as caregiver for his wife for 12 years after a long illness. During the time he spent with her he wrote poems for her enjoyment. After she passed away in 2012 after 51 years of marriage, he began to write children's books as well as continuing his writing of poems. This is his second book of poems and contains some of the poems he had written for his wife as well as other poems. He currently has four children's books published and many more in the pipeline.
