Synopsis
The original work in this anthology has been independently produced and collected by students in the 2015-2016 Creative Writing Class at Weslaco East High School, Weslaco Independent School District. Students taking the course have experimented with a variety of genres, styles, voices/personas, and forms of writing and have also produced an online journal, The Lit Cat (found at www.thelitcat.weebly.com). Several of the pieces presented here have been previously published in Teen Ink or in Boundless, the anthology of the Rio Grande Valley International Poetry Festival.
