With that in mind, this book highlights some common mistakes, based on experience, conversation, and study, and offers recommendations for how to proceed wisely, with the goal of maintaining healthy relationships within the church and with a new leader.

À propos de l'auteur

Dr Gerry Lewis has been involved in ministry for more than 35 years, serving in churches as Music and Youth Minister and Senior Pastor. Since 2008, he has served as Executive Director of Harvest Baptist Association, as well as serving as a church consultant, leadership coach, and public speaker. He publishes a daily Facebook devotional (Dr. G’s Morning Cup of Encouragement), a weekly podcast (Your Church Matters with Dr. Gerry Lewis), and a weekly blog (Life Matters) that appears at drgerrylewis.com and as a column in three local newspapers. Dr. G is a passionate follower of Jesus and is the proud husband to Mrs. Sweetie, father to his grownup children, Tova & Joe and Zeke & Allie, and proud Grandpa to Aziza and Owen.
