Patrick J. Patterson, MSW, MPH is President of Global Partners for Fathers and Families Consulting, LLC. Over his career, Patrick has effectively delivered more than 700 fatherhood and grant writing trainings, consultations, keynotes & workshops with public/private agencies in 42 states, 4 countries, and St. Thomas, USVI. Patrick has also been awarded the prestigious International Fatherhood Practitioner of the Year by NPCL. As a grant writer, Patrick has written and led grant writing efforts that have successfully resulted in more than $51 Million in grant awards from Federal, State, and Private Foundation funding sources, including multi-million dollar Federal grant awards during both President George W. Bush & President Barack Obama Administrations. He earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Benedict College (Columbia, SC) and dual Masters degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of South Carolina. He has been married for 18 years to his high school sweetheart, Sherani Ashford Patterson, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Peyton and Lorin.

Peyton G. Patterson is a first-time author. She is the eldest child in her family and is a fun loving 6th grader who loves reading and spending time with her parents, and baby sister.
