The subject of this book is taken from Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Explained in this book is how we find the narrow road, traveling the narrow road and life on the narrow road. Seven reasons are given explaining why people choose to walk the broad road to destruction instead of choosing the narrow road to life, and these reasons all have their origin in Satan’s lies. Christ said, “He (Satan) was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). Many people are walking the broad road, believing Satan’s lies and falsely believe they have eternal life with God. “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14) This book brings the truth of how we must be redeemed to God before we can have eternal life in heaven. Described is the fulfilling life achieved when we walk the narrow road; a life of peace, joy, with a heart of love that overcomes fear. Satan does not want us living with peace and joy from God, so his goal is to fill us with fear, leading to anxiety and worry. Christ said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10) We will believe whatever we choose to justify, and we can justify anything if we think about it long enough, Our belief can never change the truth, so as you read this book open your heart to the truth and choose wisely.
