You might even have a 4.0.You are prepared, at least in an academic sense, to graduate. But what about all of the aspects of the “real world” that are rarely talked about in academia? The ones that have nothing to do with what you know and everything to do with who you are? Written as "20 mandatory lessons that didn't come with your degree", each with a memorable title such as "Make your own luck", "Small goals are big", "Tell the truth to power", "Love then money" and "Show up no matter what", it's the kind of straight talk that will not only be easily understood but easily remembered. An invaluable primer for a recent or soon-to-be grad, it's the perfect gift to help them get their career off to a strong start.
