It captures a child's interest and helps parents and teachers talk about the idea that what makes us different also makes us special. This story is written by Wei-Li Shao and illustrated by Lanaii Canada. Both of whom believe that a good story can change the way a child sees the world! For the first full-year of sales (2018), all royalties will be donated to the United Way in support of children's education.

À propos de l'auteur

Wei-Li Shao is a husband, father, and business executive who has a passion for diversity and inclusion. Together with his family, he has lived in four different countries in the last ten years and has seen and experienced the colorful differences that the world has to offer. Anny, The Tall Girl is his first children's book, which was inspired by the many stories he wrote for his two daughters when they were children. Lanaii Canada and is an upcoming artist, illustrator, and animator. Her work in Anny, The Tall Girl can best be described as Japanese Anime-inspired, emoji art. Each character was specifically designed to embody the diversity we see in today's children.
