Author Howard Teich, a practicing attorney and principal of The Howard Teich Network, has a distinguished background of service in leadership positions, either as Founder, Chair, or Board of Directors member in a wide variety of Jewish organizations - including Israel Bonds, American Jewish Congress, Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, and American Friends of Ariel University in Judea and Samaria.

His accolades include the Rev. Martin Luther King Living the Dream Award from New York Governor George Pataki and the Jewish Heritage Award in a proclamation from the Council of the City of New York, and he appeared in the 1999–2008 editions of Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World.

Teich lives in Manhattan, and he’s a three-time NYC marathon runner and finisher. His mission is to promote justice and tolerance through spirituality and excellence
