Mary Mueller grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She is a writer, mother, and grandmother who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She is also an avid volunteer with Brethren Disaster Ministries and served with them in Louisiana for four years following Hurricane Katrina. Mary's writing has appeared in the following publications: Disaster News Network (July 2007); Bridges, Vol.12 (Summer 2011); Brethren Press (March 3, 2013); Brethren Press, Church of the Brethren 2014 Cookbook "Wit and Wisdom" sidebar, and Messenger Magazine (May 2017). Sandra Reed is a published artist, whose work has appeared in the Voices from the Ledges, Grand Ledge Michigan, 2013. Drawing since a child, her creative works include watercolor paintings, unique hand-painted furniture, and delightful murals. Her art was first requested by family and friends, expanded to opening her a shop, to then being commissioned for work in individual homes and businesses in Florida, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Her work has been commissioned by the following businesses: Habitat For Humanity ReStore, Sew Creative & Pins and Needles, About the Home, Church of the Brethren, and the Small Talk Children's Assessment Center.
