Bad shit is gonna happen. This is the self-help book that's going to help you not only survive the storms, but come out the other side happier, stronger, and with a mean left hook. Sheryl Green is passionate about helping people overcome their challenges and become the person they were always meant to be. By the end of Surviving to Thriving, you will discover: • The most powerful anti-depressant in the world (hint: it has no side effects). • Why you should embrace your fears and live life by a “Diaper List”. • Why the Platinum Rule outshines the Golden Rule every day of the week. • That you already possess all the tools you need to rock your life. (You just need to learn how to use them) When life is kicking you in the butt, find your inner strength with ‘Surviving to Thriving’ and start living the life you've always hoped for. “Sheryl Green's story is powerful and relatable. Sheryl Green is a resiliency expert, author, speaker, and coach. When searching for her core message and expertise, Sheryl realized just how amazing she was at getting knocked on her butt and getting back up stronger and braver than she'd ever been before. She now brings that spirit of resilience to her coaching clients, helping women overcome divorce and battle codependency, embrace their true self, and live as the main character in their life's narrative. After years of living in "comfort zone quicksand" and a devastating divorce, Sheryl found herself in a deep depression. She hit rock bottom months later, having to be lifted up off the bathroom floor, and embarked on a journey of self discovery. Almost drowning in a sea of self-help books and seminars, Sheryl found peace in the service of others. Volunteerism and a variety of other tools allowed her to overcome her depression and find her true calling. Sheryl is a passionate animal advocate and serves as the Director of Communications and Cuddling for Hearts Alive Village, an animal rescue in Las Vegas. Inspired by a special service dog named Pele, Sheryl founded Paw it Forward Las Vegas, an annual community event to inspire people to get involved and support animal rescue, and to be a voice for those who cannot speak. With more than 15 years in Customer Service, 6 years in Mental Health and Education, and 5 years in the nonprofit world, Sheryl brings a unique blend of experience and insight to her clients. Her dream is for women to discover and embrace their true selves, and become the heroine of their story. Sheryl earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and Anthropology from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York and her Master's Degree is Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. After too many years of brushing snow off her car, Sheryl now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her beagle/lab mix Akasha. In her spare time she likes to read, travel, hike with Akasha and do yoga (also sometimes involving Akasha). Contact Sheryl at: sheryl@sherylgreenspeaks.com www.sherylgreenspeaks.com
