Dr. Doug Moore is a Family Practice physician. He has practiced medicine in Shelby County, Alabama since 1989. He has been married to Lisa since 1988. They have three children, three children-in-laws, one granddaughter, and three grand dogs. He graduated from UAB School of Medicine in 1986 and completed his Family Practice Residency in Huntsville, Al three years later. From there he set up practice with his best friend from medical school. They have been at the same location since 1990. He was raised in Southern Baptist churches. His first college he attended was a Catholic College. His undergraduate studies were completed at a Methodist college. He raised his children in a Presbyterian church. Currently he is a member of Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Alabama. More Than You Can Handle is his attempt to put in print lessons learned in almost three decades of addressing the issues of life found in work, home, church and the rest of the world.
