Gregory M. Coticchia, MBA, PC, founded four startups and was involved in the creation of fourteen more. He actively participated in raising over $73 million in venture capital, served as a CEO four times, and helped launch over a hundred products and solutions. He contributed to both LEGENT (now CA) and AXENT (now Symantec).
Coticchia has a degree in industrial engineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves as the director of the University of Pittsburgh’s Startup Accelerator and Innovation Institute and is an executive in residence for software and information technology. He also teaches business courses at the university’s Katz School of Business.
A three-time finalist for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Coticchia was named a distinguished graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (Katz) in 2006 and is a member of the Brentwood High School Hall of Fame.
