Hamilton Cline has become well known in the San Francisco Bay Area and garnered a heavy following on Reddit and Instagram for his striking portraits. Every morning on his way to work as a professor at the Academy of Art University, Cline targets his subjects, whips out his Samsung Note 3 and begins to draw. “I practice to practice,” he says. “Set yourself a goal, give yourself a timeline and stick to it.”   Hamilton’s transit illustrations have been featured on New York Times Online, SFGate and Kevin Klein Live on Live 105. He is a former professional caricaturist at Valley Fair, Knott’s Berry Farm and a creative team member at Concept Art House, a company that does pre-production graphics and animation work for video game developers.
