Jack Fischer was a world-class gymnast and world record holder until an accident cut his career short in 1979, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. In 1992 he became the first quadriplegic teacher in the history of the Los Angeles Unified School District and taught for twenty years. Jack lives in Southern California with his wife Maria.
