"Volume I - The Gathering Fools" reveals the background of the initial festival and its first four summers in the Netherlands during the times between 1972 and into 1978.

"Volume III - Worldwide Fools" tells about the Amsterdam Festival's initial finale in 1984, the Theatre des Nations in Athens during 1985, and how the Fools subsequently spread throughout the globe, including the Southern Hemisphere, well into the Millennium and present times after a Reunion Festival in 1995.
