A poem titled "Ode to Severn Darden About Angels, the Common Cold, Nuclear Disarmament, and Popcorn" on page 34 folds out to 12 page sections totaling 5 feet (!). Though a good poet, Carroll is better known for his academic work, starting the Poetry Center of Chicago and co-editing Big Table Review.
