-New Introductory Chapter! Chapter 1 has been split into 2 chapters. Chapter 1 now focuses more on key terms and concepts; it defines the interview, identifies types of interviews, and discusses tools for interviews, including electronic interviews. Chapter 2 contains an expanded theoretical treatment of relationships in interviews, how perceptions affect relationships, the nature and development of relationships in other cultures and countries, and how women and men differ in their relationships.
-Chapter 2 has added coverage on interpersonal theory.
-Chapter 7 has added coverage on persuasion theories.
-Updated Resumes! The resumes within the text have been updated allowing students to see not only examples, but also giving them ideas for their own resumes.
-'Technology Boxes', found once per chapter, cover topics ranging from job searches, company searches, to how to find online resume sites.
-A website has been designed to help students develop their online skills.
-New Role-Playing Cases. Staples of the text, many of the cases have been updated for the new edition.
