Born in 1926, William Rotsler was the five time Hugo Award-winning author of SHIVA DESCENDING (with Gregory Benford), TO THE LAND OF THE ELECTRIC ANGEL, ZANDRA, THE FAR FRONTIER and STAR TREK: DISTRESS CALL. He died in 1997.
