Jasmina Svenne is the second of six children of Latvian parentage, but was brought up in Nottinghamshire. As a result she is bi-lingual and was brought up in two contrasting cultures. She has been a probationary member of the RNA for two years. Behind the Mask is her first novel and has already been awarded the Katie Fforde Bursary.
