Synopsis
When Joe set up separate homes with Amanda and Sara he sowed the seeds of destruction. Living with each of them for half the week, he uses his deceased Aunt Ethel as an alibi for spending so much time away from his families. But what will happen to his carefully ordered chaos when Amanda's son, Simon, meets Harriet, the daughter of Sara? A new baby, a change of direction and ill-health also threaten the domestic calm. As the two women discover Joe's deception, they must find the strength to sort out their lives. Could living as one family solve their problems? Would it all prove too much for Joe? Can there ever be an acceptable resolution?

A.V. Denham taught in both London and Hong Kong before moving to Wales with her family. She joined the Women's Royal Voluntary Service and later trained for the emergency services.
