On a train from Paris to Rome on his way to surprise his lover, the businessman Léon Delmont begins to mull over his past and question the decisions he has made about his future. À propos de l?auteur
Michel Butor (1926-2016) was a French writer often associated with the nouveau roman movement and is best remembred for his Changing Track (La Modification). After writing his fourth and final novel in 1960, he devoted the rest of his writing career to essays and poetry.
