His quest for authenticity led to the invention of an innovative visual language. About the Author: Noel Bourcier is Artistic Director of the Andre Kertesz Foundation. He has written numerous articles on photography, many of which have appeared in Art Press. He has organized numerous exhibitions, including 'Emmanuel Sougez, Eminence Grise' (1993), 'Andre Kertesz, Copy of a Life' (1994) and 'Sovereign England: The Golden Age of British Photography' (1996).
