Each 'word section' progresses from components of a design style, like colour combinations and fonts to examples of design style, such as brochures and logos. Lisa Buchanan worked with numerous clients on freelance projects, including logos, brochures, web sites, letterhead, and business cards, before becoming the art director for HOW Design Books. She is constantly developing her insights into the client-designer relationship, and has won an Art Director's Award for her work with F&W in the US.
