Synopsis

Using her watercolours as inspiration, Jayne has produced exciting animal designs from five different habitats. Each section begins with a stunning showpiece - an animal portrait surrounded by wildlife from the habitat, to be stitched together or as individual motifs. The Safari Collection opens with a proud lioness encircled by zebra, antelope, elephant and lions. The golden eagle is the majestic centrepiece to Masters of the Air, while a grizzly bear takes centre stage in Forest Creatures. A dolphin is the focus of Ocean Life, while an adorable seal is at the heart of Polar Wildlife. These and many other featured animal portraits are ideal for framing, but they can also be displayed in many other ways, from stitching on waste canvas on a smock top, to working on a band to enhance a towel. With Jayne's evocative watercolours to provide extra inspiration, this collection will please all cross stitchers seeking fresh, realistic animal designs.
