Shooting pigeons is not easy. Being shot at for generations has taught the woodpigeon a thing or two about survival. Biographie de l'auteur

John Humphreys is the son of a Cambridgeshire country parson, and has been devoted to field sports all his life. Game shooting, wild-fowling, woodland stalking, trout fishing and amateur gamekeeping feature high on his list of activities. He is an established field sports journalist who has contributed to The Shooting Times, Countryside Monthly and Sporting Gun. He is the author of several books for David & Charles, including Poacher's Tales, The Complete Gundog and A Countyman's Year. John lives in Bottisham, Cambridge.
