This copy is bright, tight, white and square. The unclipped dust wrapper is in near fine condition. International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased postal rates will be quoted, where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. This copy is from the library of George Darley DSO Officer Commanding RAF 609 Squadron 1940 Northolt & Middle Walllop and has some pencilled marginalia (not entirely uncritical of some of the references in the book). Squadron 609 were involved in attacks on Luftwaffe II/KG 55 Heinkel III who were bombing the Bristol Aeroplane Factory airfield at Filton Bristol. This is an excellent account of the big daylight raid on Filton nr Bristol in 1940, with details of the aircraft units and crews from both sides. Indeed I would suggest this as an idealised account of an action that would be difficult to write today as it includes interviews with some of the crews. Highly recommended. Ref UU 5.
