Synopsis
A booklet designed to be used during the service of Holy Communion. It reproduces the words of the service from the Book of Common Prayer alongside a commentary which describes and explains it from start to finish. Aimed at increasing the confidence of those who have never taken communion before, it is particularly appropraite for children but can be used by adults too. Addressing the reader directly, the author begins by explaining what the service of Holy Communion is, who leads it, who participates and what vestments are worn. The booklet advises the newcomer when to speak and what to say, when to stand and when to kneel, what is happening and why.
