"Come ci è venuto in mente di allestite uno spettacolo legato al tema della strage di Stato? Anche in questo caso siamo stati spinti da una situazione di necessità. Durante la primavera del '70 gran parte del pubblico che assisteva ai nostri spettacoli... ci sollecitava a scrivere un intero testo sulla strage alla Banca dell'Agricoltura di Milano e sull'assassinio di Pinelli, che ne discutesse le cause e le conseguenze politiche. La ragione di questa richiesta era costituita dal pauroso vuoto d'informazione attorno al problema. Passato lo shock iniziale, la stampa taceva... Si aspettava che "luce venisse fatta".
