Synopsis

The first in a two-part course that takes the beginner through to GCSE Spanish. It is particularly suitable for those taking Spanish GCSE over a period of three years or less. The book provides a systematic, organized approach to assist rapid programming. Book 1 covers the basic ground and should be a useful text for the first stage of GCSE course, or as a complete textbook for those following the GCSE short course in Spanish; Book 2 revisits key language structures, broadens the topic coverage, and focuses closely on the skills and knowledge required for a good grade in the full Spanish GCSE. Biographie de l'auteur

John Connor has taught Spanish in a range of schools and is an experienced writer of resource materials. He is a Spanish examiner at GCSE and A level and is widely involved in teacher training.
Roselyne Bernabeu has taught Spanish in secondary schools, sixth form and Further Education colleges and in adult education, and has experience as a Spanish examiner.
Mike Zollo is a well-known author of Spanish course materials. He is also an experienced examiner.
Philip Horsfall has extensive experience in teaching, examining, writing and inspection. Currently working as a PGCE tutor in the Department of Educational Studies at York University, he has written a range of GCSE textbooks.
