Mental Arithmetic 2 covers the key subject areas of number, measurement, geometry and statistics, including fractions, decimals, times tables, units of length, mass and capacity, geometric shapes and co-ordinates. The book includes:

• 36 one-page tests, each presented in a unique three-part format comprising: questions where use of language is kept to a minimum; questions using number vocabulary; questions focusing on one- and two-step word problems
• Progress Tests to monitor learning as pupils work through the book
• Check-up Tests to identify any gaps in understanding.
