Synopsis
Native to Australia, the tea tree plant was originally used by Aborigines as a natural remedy for a wide variety of health problems. It was during this century that the healing properties of tea tree oil came to be recognized as a result of scientific research. An antiseptic and fungicidal agent, tea tree oil has also been found to stimulate the immune system, and is said to be hailed as the "anstiseptic of the future". This book indicates how the oil can be used in the home for a variety of purposes including the treatment of infected cuts and wounds, viral diseases and fungal infections, and for hair care.
