Synopsis

This is a concise guide to the assessment of potential endocrine problems in children. It provides the information necessary to carry out a preliminary examination and determine the most appropriate cause of treatment. An introductory section describes the pathophysiology of the condition and the clinical manifestations of changes taking place enabling the clinician to interpret the signs correctly and make an accurate diagnosis.
