Ian Irvine lives in North Dorrigo, New South Wales. He has been an environmental scientist for the past twenty years. An expert in pollution management, he has written some of Australia's national guidelines for the protection of the marine environment. He is also the author of the international bestselling fantasy quartet, THE VIEW FROM THE MIRROR.
