Synopsis
After teddy Pappas loses his mother to a car accident, he and his young brother are left with their eccentric Civil War professor father, a man more able to discuss Confederate footwear than his sons' day at school. then teddy's father plays the lottery with his wife's old numbers and wins $190 million. It takes theo Pappas three weeks to claim the ticket, but once he does, the family's lives are transformed forever. Immediately, new faces arrive to share the good fortune: ancient, terrifying Aunt Bess and her half-blind cat; Uncle Frank, struggling producer of vampire movies, followed swiftly by Sylvanius, his gracious leading man.
