Synopses: The Fellowship of the Ring (1954) Frodo Baggins inherits the One Ring from his uncle Bilbo and learns that it was forged by the Dark Lord Sauron. To prevent Sauron from reclaiming it, Frodo leaves the Shire with friends Sam, Merry, and Pippin. Along the journey they are joined by Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, and Boromir, forming the Fellowship of the Ring. The group faces deadly enemies, including Ringwraiths, orcs, and the treacherous mines of Moria. By the end, the Fellowship is broken, and Frodo and Sam continue alone toward Mordor to destroy the Ring. The Two Towers (1954) With the Fellowship scattered, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli pursue the captured Merry and Pippin across Rohan. Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam continue their perilous trek toward Mordor, guided by the corrupted creature Gollum. The wizard Saruman launches his forces against the kingdom of Rohan, leading to the epic Battle of Helm's Deep. Gandalf returns transformed and helps unite the free peoples against the growing darkness. As the war expands across Middle-earth, Frodo draws ever closer to the heart of Sauron's realm. The Return of the King (1955) The final struggle against Sauron begins as Aragorn embraces his destiny as the rightful king of Gondor. The forces of the West wage desperate battles, including the Siege of Minas Tirith, to distract Sauron from Frodo's mission. Deep within Mordor, Frodo and Sam endure immense hardship while carrying the Ring toward Mount Doom. At the brink of failure, Gollum's obsession with the Ring unexpectedly determines the fate of Middle-earth. With the Ring destroyed and Sauron defeated, peace returns, Aragorn is crowned king, and the surviving heroes return home changed forever. N° de réf. du vendeur ABE-1793318849597
