Erica Salmon graduated from Cornell University with a degree in communications. Her first book, Dogma: A Way of Life, was published by Andrews McMeel. She is also the creator of the Fantasy Fashion League, an online fantasy game similar to fantasy football. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and her copy of Mommy File is filled with articles that help her raise her son and daughter.

Tracy Rumpf is the creator of The Mommy Journal and Mommy Photos and cocreator of The Mommy File. Her product line was created to help parents capture moments from their children's lives with gifts and journals. Tracy lives with her husband, Tim, and their four children, Christopher, Kylie, Brogan, and Brennan, in Missouri.
