Biographie de l'auteur

John Somer grew up on a farm in Southern Kansas, an area settled by a variety of European immigrants and rich with ethnic diversity. The local Irish were especially vocal and influential. He is a professor of English at Emporia State University, Kansas, and has long been a student of Yeats and Joyce.
John Daly was born and still lives in Drumcondra, Ireland. He was educated at Clongowes Wood College (Joyce's alma mater) and later wrote his doctoral dissertation on Joyce. He now runs Hillsboro Fine Art, a gallery specializing in twentieth-century Irish and British art.
